Hey Brad, want to "redeem" Aspyr in my eyes? FIX VERTICAL SYNC!!!!!! Vertical Sync.show stopper for me if not available (forces me to buy windows version of game to get it)Īnyways, my 2 cents (not that anyone is listening.) I consider Anti Aliasing a bonus but vertical sync a necessity.

I used to have an ATI Radeon X1900 chip in my Mac Pro and the only way to get Vertical Sync to work was by using a hacked copy of ATI Displays and then it would work so they can't state that it's "impossible" on the Mac as obviously it isn't. The option is available in the game options, but it doesn't work under OS X. A GREAT example of this is the game PREY by Aspyr. Without it enabled Mac game screen refresh is HORRIBLY distorted. I can't fathom why the Mac game publishers steadfastly REFUSE to implement this one little option and have it actually WORK with their games. Funny thing is that of all the "gee whiz bang" features that could be implemented, the only one I really care about that no one seems interested in implementing is "Vertical Sync".
